Rule 229
Delegation of authority
(1) The right to amend the cost estimate, amend the purchase agreement, extend the term of the purchase agreement and make variations as provided in the Procurement Act and this regulation cannot be delegated.
(2) Other than the rights mentioned in sub-rule (1), the authorized officer may delegate to any officer under him.
(3) In relation to the authority delegated according to sub-rules (1) and (2), the responsibility of the authority delegating the authority shall remain.
(4) In accordance with sub-rule (2), the authority delegating authority shall take necessary information from the relevant authority from time to time regarding the work done in accordance with the delegated authority.
